Mudra

"Mudra," as defined in the shloka "Mudam raati dadati iti 'Mudra,' signifies it as a tool for cultivating happiness. This joy manifests within one’s consciousness.

In modern times, the term "Mudra" is often misunderstood as merely referring to Hastha Mudras (hand gestures), which belong to the Tantra Shastras, not Hatha Yoga. In the realm of Hatha Yoga, Mudras are psychic gestures that guide the practitioner towards awakening the Kundalini energy. The Hatha Yoga describes 10 significant Mudras that play a crucial role in this journey.

This workshop provides an outline on these advanced practices which should only be performed under the guidance of a qualified guru to achieve their true potential
