Science Of Breath
Breath—it is the first and last act of life. Our existence on this earth depends on it, yet many of us lack the awareness or knowledge of how to breathe properly.
In yoga, Pranayama is the practice of controlling the life force within us. Derived from Sanskrit, "Prana" means life-force or vital energy, and "Ayama" means control. Together, Pranayama signifies the mastery over our vital energy by starting with the breath.
Breath is the gross manifestation of this subtle energy, and learning to regulate it is the first step toward controlling prana. In this workshop, guided by Acharya Bala and his years of experiential wisdom, participants will gain deep insights into the Science of Breath. The techniques taught will not only help enhance physical well-being but also cultivate a balanced and peaceful state of mind, which is the ultimate aim for spiritual seekers.
